It keeps saying the DLL wasn't found.. but I replaced it in the Sandboxie directory...

Maybe it's because I'm running the 64-bit version?

That's right. You dropped a 32-bit SbieDll over the 64-bit SbieDll. You should recover your original 64-bit DLL, and then drop the new DLL over SbieDllX.dll, which is the 32-bit DLL in the 64-bit edition of Sandboxie. Note the X in SbieDllX.

Yes.. I replaced the SbieDllX.dll with the downloaded one on Vista 64-bit/Sandboxie 64-bit. I double-checked the templates.ini to make sure netsvcs wasn't still present. I checked the hardware access to make sure it was unchecked. I checked the IPC Direct Access to make sure those entries were gone. I deleted the sandbox contents; made sure they were deleted. Finally, I tried it with several different selections on Netflix that I hadn't played before.

The new DLL works perfectly! Very Happy

Oh! I also made sure that I closed the Sandboxie Control and stopped the service before replacing the DLL.

Excellent. Thank you Ordanis for not giving up and scouring the Internet for Silverlight 4 resources and web sites that I can use to reproduce the problem. Smile

Perhaps this will also resolve the following open issues:

http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=8061
http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=8050

That would be a double (or quadruple) win! Smile

No problem! Very Happy

I even signed up for an account, so I can try to help you in the future. Shocked

When I get another job, I'll buy a few copies to help you out... This is a great piece of software and I really appreciate the 64-bit support.

Well, I'll be. I saw this thread and ignored it since I wasn't having a problem. Then I did a windows update (XP Pro sp3) including Silverlight, and ran into the DRM problem. I downloaded and dropped the DLL into place and problem solved.

Tzuk, will the next beta include the fix?

Yes, it will. But might take me another day or two to release it.

hi everyone,

even with version 3.46, i was still getting DRM message seen in the first post. i noticed this twist which may be related: with start restrictions on, i found that sandboxie was blocking "Silverlight.Configuration.exe" and "agcp.exe" at the point that netflix was complaining (ie, right after where it determines your internet speed.)

even allowing those 2 programs to run did not fix the problem.

what *did* fix the problem for me was to run netflix outside of sandboxie one time. i'm guessing that this allowed one or both of the above programs to do it's magic configuration. then with a cleared sandbox, i was finally able to watch netflix again. i did not downgrade silverlight.

hope that helps anyone else with the same problem Smile
