A number of Sandboxie's operations assume the use of DefaultBox, if no other sandbox is listed on the start.exe command line.
So just leave the sandbox called DefaultBox, and create new sandboxes as needed.

I have a couple of boxes running and never had any box named DefaultBox, but this update broke that for the first time ever.

It's nothing I need to to take some soothing pill for Wink

I did a clean re-install after that and let the DefaultBox always be included. You know old habits to just change every little thing! Laughing

Thanks tzuk.

If you want us to be forced to use that box or it's needed for sandboxie to work then we should'nt be able to rename that box.

I input an another possible problem, but I really don't know if it was Sandboxie's fault.

I did a fresh install of latest beta, setup my boxes and reboot - tested them out, all good. closed them all and then went to do a
Boot time defrag with Puran Defrag (not sandboxed) "Restart-Defrag-Shutdown + Disc Check" and there it come: couldn't write
to protected memory, but it reboot and did the job, weird,, then re-tested again, now i get something like remove new components of
this and that message Laughing then I tested to remove "Group"="UIGroup" from registry, reboot and tested a few more times, no more
problem. I also use DEP for all programs but no problem with that before.

Anyone else can test and see if I am just the unlucky one with this? XP Pro 32-bit

Anyway, my system is really not fragmented at this time and that's aint bad Very Happy

Confirm that it occurs here too (Windows XP, 32-bit), and only with 3.45.10. Basically it happens whenever you delete a sandbox.

No problem with 3.45.09.

The error about DefaultBox will be fixed in the next beta version.

H3 -- I'm afraid I could not reproduce the problem with Puran Defrag, on Windows XP in a VM.

Ok with that glitch but thanks anyway, Puran defrag I forgot of but I have tested it alot to try to reproduce it and I can't either do it no more, so I guess it was an "hickup" on my pc, so skip it Smile
