Let me understand how to reproduce the problem. I have to use a standard/LUA account, and use "SuRun" to run Sandboxie Control and then I see the error?

And no, don't use "SuRun" to run Sandboxie Control. You just need to open Sandboxie Control as usual, and right click on the taskbar area. Hope you can reproduce it!

Yes, I tested it in a clean VM too, and I was able to reproduce the glitch. Good that it is now confirmed by you too. You do of course need to configure SuRun to show "Start as administrator" in the menu.

Finally I looked into this. Turns out the problem is in SuRun. It adds its entries in the System menu (the one that says Restore, Minimize, Close, etc) but some of the entries have duplicate ID numbers. This is a bad thing and I bet that can confuse more programs and not just Sandboxie. Anyway, I added some specific workaround for this, and you will see this fixed in the next beta version.

Thanks tzuk. I haven't noticed this issue with any other program (just Sandboxie). As I said, it's not a security issue at all - it's purely a graphical one.

Anyway, good to know that you will fix it. SuRun's developer is much harder to get hold of than you!

Unfortunately I can't confirm that. I tested it with Windows XP, SP3, 32-bit, SuRun version 1.2.0.8 and get the same problem with Sandboxie 3.49.11:

Ah, I see. It "fixed" the problem for a specific ID number. But the problematic ID number is not permanent and every system restart changes it. I revised the fix and I hope it will work correctly in version 3.49.12.
