Both, one for my installed version, one for the RF2Go version. Both work fine.

Now it's the browser attachment that's annoying me. I can't get a sandboxed RF2Go to attach to anything now.

I'm gonna install SB on my computer and see if it works that way.

You mean you've been using a portable sandboxie? well damn then, thats probably the problem. At least i hope thats the problem, cause then you know you can fix it by using the install version.

Nope, not a portable SB problem. It acts the same whether it's the installed or portable SB.

I'm still having the license issue, but I can get it to work if RF2Go and FF (installed version) are both sandboxed. But that's it. I can't get it to attach to FirefoxPortable.

Same problem over here: Roboform2go v2.9.3 licensefile is correctly present on my Sandisk cruzer U3 USB stick but whatever I do it still pops up as a Free version.

I'll follow this thread and hope you will find a solution as I can't find it Embarassed

Update:

Ok, so some more info. Now with SB v3, sandboxed programs cannot interact with unsandboxed programs. So for anything to work, both RF2Go and FF have to be in the same sandbox. Sticking with that -

1. RF2Go and a local version of FF work fine, as SnDPhoenix discovered. eternalbeta - I will bet you'll find the same thing.
2. RF2Go and PortableFF do not like eachother when sandboxed, and will revert RF2Go to the FREE version. I'm experimenting with some ClosedFilePath settings in hopes of fixing this; no progress yet.
3. RF2Go and P_FF work fine outside the sandbox.
4. I do have a *workaround* for this that I have working reliably. BUT, it's illegal and I can't say anything more than that unfortunately. "I had to come to prison to become a thief." -Shawshank Redemption

I tried getting in touch with RoboForm support, but they're unhelpful since I was basically asking how to run RF2Go without having to use their launcher (which I believe is part of the problem). Go figure LOL.

I'll report any more progress on a kosher solution.

Without knowing exactly what RF2Go is reading and how it interacts with PortableFF, I don't know if I can fix this.

I can try a trace, but that's a lot of info.

tzuk - can you move this thread to the v3.00 forum so it's not locked yet?

Works fine indeed.

However, the only *workaround* in the full USB version I can find is manually via the "edit" function. Even though cumbersome, at least it works better than my brain to remember all the logins. Rolling Eyes

Its even legal but with a licence I would have liked life a little bit easier. Wish I could find your *workaround* Evil or Very Mad
