I created a new sandbox to open Firefox that I want to use for Facebook only. I can go to the Tool Tray at the bottom of Windows and right click Sandboxie to access that specific sandbox but I would like to create a shortcut on the desktop to only open that specific sandbox. Is that possible? IF so how?

I tried going into Shell Integration but couldn't find a way there.

Using Windows 7 x64

You must have missed seeing the "Add Shortcut Icons" button under Windows Shell Integration.

You must have missed the part of my question about creating shortcut for a Specific Sandbox. The Add Shortcuts button isn't taking me to the specific box created, just programs in general.

Perhaps there is someone who could offer help without being sarcastic.

It wasn't sarcasm. With the button off by itself, near the right hand side, it is easy to miss it.
Just create a sandbox and then use the "Add Shortcut Icons" button.
The first thing it should do is to ask you which sandbox to use.
Don't you see a window listing all of the available sandboxes, when you click that button?

Ok. Thanks.
I tried what you suggested.

I just created a new sandbox named TEST BOX.
I went to Windows Shell Integration and clicked Add Shortcut Icons.
I selected the TEST BOX in the list.

Mozilla is not listed in the Programs drop down list. I do see IE but wanted to use Firefox.

First of all a sandbox can't have a <space> in the name, so I assume you may have used an underscore character in TEST_BOX, (or Test_Box).

When the Sandboxie Start Menu opens, there should be a Programs and a Desktop menu.
Firefox may have a shortcut on your Desktop, so you can pick that from the "Desktop" path.
Or, you should be able to use the "Programs" path, and scroll down the list to Mozilla Firefox and find the shortcut there.

Incidentally, when I clicked out of the dialog box, a new shortcut was put on my desktop but it opens up the #[DefaultBox] Mozilla Firefox# browser instead.

Sorry this website has me wait 10 min between postings.

OK, yes in the drop down list under Programs, Mozilla is not listed for some reason.

I specifically had to make a shortcut on the Desktop for Firefox to get access to it from the Desktop drop down menu.
IF I choose that shortcut, it will create another FF shortcut underneath and will open FF in the TEST_BOX. IF I remove the original FF shortcut though, the Sandboxie shortcut will not work either. Kind of defeating IMHO.

I don't know why Mozilla is not listed Under Programs unless its not on purpose because the Default Box will open it.

I just discovered that Mozilla is not listed under my Start/Programs folder either. I assume thats why its not listed under the Programs options in Shell Integration.
If I can figure out how to make it show in Start/Programs, I think I will be able to continue on.

Since I don't know the path to firefox.exe on Win 7, use Windows Explorer to navigate to that .exe file and Create Shortcut.
Then move that shortcut to your Desktop.
Modify that shortcut's (right-click) > Properties > "Target" line, so that it runs Sandboxie's Start.exe program and lists the sandbox on the same line.

As an example, here is a shortcut's "Target" line for my computer's paths (XP):
"C:\Program Files\Sandboxie\Start.exe" /box:Test_Box "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"

Quotes around the path for Start.exe and firefox.exe.
One <space> before and after the /box:Test_Box parameter.

You will probably want to Rename that shortcut, and you can "Change Icon" for it - perhaps by browsing to Sandboxie's Start.exe program and choosing the sandbox icon.

WOW that worked! when I did your Target hack, the FF icon changed into a Sandboxie icon also and it opens up as it should inside the TEST_BOX.

Thank you for the help.
Sorry for the misunderstanding.

This is one of those times that I wish there was more of a Browse functionality available in the Sandboxie Start Menu, when using it via the "Add Shortcut Icons" button.
Selecting 'Desktop > (explore folder)' creates a Desktop shortcut that will open the Desktop folder sandboxed, instead of allowing you to browse to a file or program on the hard drive; one that does not have a shortcut on the real or sandboxed Desktop or Start Menu.
If firefox.exe could have been selected via this menu item, it would have been easier to create the new Desktop shortcut for Firefox.

When using "Run From Start Menu", the Sandboxie Start Menu does allow you to use 'Desktop > (explore folder)' to browse to a file or folder on the hard drive, and it duplicates the "Run Sandboxed" functionality.
