i am a registered user of sandboxie
i want to install sandboxie on my computer which may/may not already be infected with a virus
can a virus steal the sandboxie serial if i install sandboxie and register it on an infected computer?
or if the computer is not already infected, but gets infected later on, can it steal the sandboxie serial key?

If you leave it lying around as plain text on your desktop then, yes, there is a possibility that a virus could collect it in a datatheft sweep. Otherwise I think it's stored in an encypted form on your system when you enter it via Sandboxie's licensing window, so it should be safe.
