Weird. Does the same thing happen if you run IE/Fx in a new sandbox?

One thing that's always a good idea to try is to create a new sandbox and try to run the program in that new sandbox.
Upon creation a new sandbox should have default settings and no content, so it is a good way to determine if the problem is related to a specific sandbox, or a general problem with all sandboxes. |

Fx is the initials of Firefox.
Anyways, did you change any settings on your computer between the time you installed the last version and the current version? Did you install any kind of an addon or something which integrates into IE/Fx but not Chrome? Also it could be a privileges error or something because IE/Fx both run from Program Files while Chrome launches from your AppData folder, thus perhaps something changed the permissions of Sandboxie or a folder path like Program Files? Do you at least get any kind of error messages? |

Of coarse FX, duh, anyway no, no error messages. No I didn't make any changes between versions. I thought I'd uninstall and run ccleaner reboot and then re-install. Still same issue. Strange I know. I have the problem on my laptop. I have win 7 home P 64bit on desktop home pc with sandboxie and no probs.

OK I just installed version 3.52 and now everything works! So I don't know. Should I just use this version. This one doesn't have the experimental 64bit thing, is it really necessary?

Certainly the Experimental Protection is not necessary, but it is better protection. If you want we can try to figure it out. A good first step is to post a Resource Access Monitor log. Start the log before running anything in the sandbox:
http://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?ResourceAccessMonitor You can close the monitor about 1-2 minutes after the program fails to start, this will copy the log contents to the clipboard, and you can then paste it here. |

According to your log you're missing quite a lot of software compatibility settings. So it's surprising that you can get version 3.52 to work, I'm not sure I understand that. Can you tell me which specific iolo software it is that you use? I want to try to install it and see if I get the same thing and if so I can add software compatibility for it.
