I am using version 3.72 64 Bit on Windows Vista 64 bit home premium service pack 2.

I have been using sandboxie for the past year and half with no problems, but since I started using the 64 bit version of SB, I have the following problems:

1. Firefox dies by itself while I am reading news from web sites.
2. Flash player has lots of problems. For instance, audio is disabled in youtube videos.

Also, I don't think all the cookies that are set by websites are getting cleared when I exit the sandbox deleting all the contents. I have set Delete Invocation "Automatically delete contents of Sandbox"

Thanks for your help!

Here is the resource access log. I opened firefox within the sandbox, went to amazon.com homepage and left it there. After a few minutes the firefox window died by itself.

Here are the logs for the session:

Are you sure that you're using version 3.72? I'm asking because version 3.72 is specifically intended to fix the audio problem, if you still have this problem it is worth making sure that you do use version 3.72.

Also something else to try: Create a new sandbox, keep it with default settings, and see if running Firefox in this new sandbox shows the same problems or not.

Hi Tzuk,

Thank you for looking into this. Actually the audio problem had gone away with 3.72, but the problem with the browser window dying out on me came up. I went back to the older version (3.70) for now since the audio problem is something I can live with for now. IE does not have any problem running inside the sandbox though.

That doesn't matter, because even the free version allows you to create more sandboxes. You can only use one at a time, though.

I downloaded version 3.72 again and reinstalled it. I have been using it since yesterday evening and I have not seen the browser crash yet.

So it appears that the problem has gone away. Flash audio is working OK as well.

The browser used to crash within 5 minutes of it being open, but now I have it open for an hour and no problems so far. I am still using the defaultbox.

The only difference between the prior (problematic) install and the current one is , I clicked on "check for upgrades" let sandboxie do the download and install the first time, whereas at present I downloaded the exe file directly by muself and ran it.

PS: I did not know that I can create a new sandbox in the free version. Thanks for the tip.
