I am using sandboxie ver 3.68 32bit on Windows XP with SP3, and after install Windows update KB2676562, everytime i launch any program in sandboxie, i reveived message SBIE2306 and SBIE2304. Then, the operation breaks.
so i used filemon and regmon to watch, then i find these logs:
182.79641724 Start.exe:252 OpenKey HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList ACCESS DENIED Access: 0x20019
182.79678345 Start.exe:252 OpenKey HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\GRE_Initialize ACCESS DENIED Access: 0x20019
but in regedit.exe, i see current user account (belongs administrators group) has full access right to those pathes.

But i am using the most new version 3.68, are u sure install the older version can resolve my problem?

The last official version for sandboxie is 3.70. Before running tests, please Upgrade it and try to reproduce again your issue.

Version 3.70 probably won't help, this is a new update and Sandboxie doesn't recognize it.

As I said, it can be worked around by installing on of the earlier updates that is mentioned in the help page for SBIE2304.

Another work around is to use RegEdit to create this registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Updates\Windows XP\SP4\KB979683

Then reinstall Sandboxie.

Version 3.70 (refresh) includes handling for KB2676562 in the same way KB979683 and similar updates.
