Hi,

I'm wondering if there's a way to create an exception for a specific program to allow it to communicate between sandboxes?

Cheers!

Alternatively, is it possible to assign an internal IP address to each sandbox?

Thanks again!

As far as I am aware this is not possible yet. I believe that Tzuk, the developer, plans to implement this in the future. Meanwhile, check SandboxieReflector to see if it suits your demands.

If I'm thinking what you're thinking, the answer is no. Sandboxes aren't completely virtualized environments as virtual computers are. Any program that runs in Sandboxie shares (or can listen on ports of) the same local addresses as programs running outside Sandboxie.

I'm trying to set up Sandboxie to play a game, running one client in each sandbox. However the program I use to pass keys to each client obviously can't connect if the clients are each in their own sandbox Sad

Oh well, thanks for your help anyway. I will have to keep my eye out for updates.
