Hi,
I have encountered a problem with Sandboxie which started with SB 3.66 and has continued up to and including the latest 3.68. The problem is that Microsoft Excel (Office 2007) and Microsoft FrontPage 2003 (Installed in Sandbox) are crashing.  
I have reverted back to v3.64 and now all are working fine. The problem occurs on both my: Windows XP Home 32-bit (all service packs and updates applied) Avira Antivirus Premium 2012 Thank you and sorry for my bad English  |

Do you use any security software other than Avira? Perhaps something that ties specifically into Office somehow?

Hi Tzuk,
No i don't. The only security software that i have is Avira and i don't have Office plugins. |

I think I know what I have to fix, by looking at the error box that you included in your screenshot.
But, I would like to try to experience the problem first hand to make sure there are no other surprises. I will try to install Avira + Office 2007 and hope this is enough to reproduce the problem. If you can post a Resource Access Monitor log that may help. Thank you for the logs, but I'm afraid they don't offer any additional hints.
I installed Avira + Office in a test system but I don't see any crash when start Excel under Sandboxie. But as I said, the crash address does offer some direction to explore, so I'll have to fix this in the next beta version that I release, and ask you to take a look at it again at that time. |
