Using Sandboxie 3.64 and latest version 3.66, XP, 32 bit, on two different computers.

Installed Desperados game from GOG.com at http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/desperados_wanted_dead_or_alive

Installed Rollercoaster Tycoon Deluxe game at http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/rollercoaster_tycoon_deluxe

Installed B17 Flying Fortress game at http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/b_17_flying_fortress_the_mighty_8th

Installed Treasure Adventure Game at http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/treasure_adventure_game

After installing the games Sandboxie was working but after computers were restarted the next day Sandboxie would put up the 5 second countdown screen when opening the browser (ie8) but countdown is frozen at 5 seconds, and had to be killed with task manager. Issue is the same on both machines. Installed newest version and still broken. A system restore to the day before installation of the games repairs Sandboxie on both machines.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Can you find out which of the games is causing this? Could it be the fourth game?

I'll try installing, rebooting and testing Sandboxie for each game. Will post results as soon as possible. Thanks.

I installed and tested all four games on a third machine. XP 32bit latest version.

Tested Sandboxie. Worked fine. Installed B-17 flying Fortress and ran. Tested Sandboxie again. Worked fine. Rebooted. Sandboxie freezes at 5 sec countdown exactly as other machines. Restored to before install of game. Sandboxie works normally again.

Installed and ran the other three games one at a time, restarting and testing sandboxie after reboot each time. Sandboxie still worked fine every time.

It is definitely the B-17 Flying Fortress game.

Thanks for your help!

Thanks for taking the time to identify the specific game that is causing this problem!
I will probably be able to look into it in a few days and post an update about this.

Sorry for not posting an update sooner about this.
I looked into this, but the apparently GOG is an online store and the game is not available as a free download.

If you like, I can use the "send a private message" in your profile to send you a link to the installer for this game at Dropbox so you can download and examine it.

No, I'm afraid I can't agree to that.

Well, sorry to bother you then. Glad I didn't buy this software as I had intended.
