Hi All

Using Sandboxie 3.64 Free and Comodo Dragon 17.4 on Windows 7 64 bit.

Have just installed Dragon but am familiar with Sandboxie. When I shut down Sandboxie the Dragon.exe is still running in Task manager (ie the red dots are still showing on the pizza icon in systray).

I have disabled all addons, no change. This problem does not exist with Chrome.

Any help welcome

Thanks

Terry

When you shut down sandboxie, you're just turning off the interface. The driver still runs in the background, as do any programs running sandboxed.

Hi

I must be having a senior moment. I meant that AFTER shutting down the DRAGON BROWSER (NOT SANDBOXIE) Dragon.exe is still showing as running in task manager and the Pizza icon is showing the red dots. Why?

Thanks

I am using Comodo 17.4 as well, and no problem at all with it. Try terminate all programs in systray menu, then delete the current sandbox.

If you have for instance more sandboxes like me, then terminate all programs solves the problem, and to make it sure have them be deleted separately.
Now, I don't know if the free version has this option to create multiple sandboxes. If not, then just delete the sandbox entirely.

I don't see the problem with a fresh installation of Dragon on 64-bit Windows 7.
Perhaps this is due to some extension/addon in your installation of Dragon.

Hi Everybody

Thanks for you contribution. I decided to upgrade to Sandboxie v3.65 -4 and that did the trick.

So all appears to be well again

Thanks

Terry
