Sandboxie 3.64 (drop rights disabled for this purpose), Win7 x64 4gb ram
Installation fails with the error messages
SBIE2205 Service not implemented: NtOpenKeyEx (00000008)
SBIE2103 Denied attempt to load system driver 'vboxusbmon'
SBIE2205 Service not implemented: NtOpenKeyEx (00000008)
SBIE2205 Service not implemented: NtOpenKeyEx (00000008)
SBIE2205 Service not implemented: NtOpenKeyEx (00000008)
I want to try Win8 32-bit Consumer Preview.

VirtualBox is complicated software and can't be installed in the sandbox. You can however install it outside the sandbox and run it under Sandboxie, if you wish. Or at least, it worked the last time I checked.

try vbox portable instead!
vbox never ran here in sandboxie.

portable or not it installs drivers, meaning that you can run it (not install it) sandboxed as long as its on the real system.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. I will try installing and then running sandboxed. Just in case, I have taken a backup image.
