There were a few issues recently with various aspects of the Chrome sandbox

(Note that one of the issues is regarding Flash 11 for Firefox, which internally uses the Chrome sandbox to isolate the Flash plugin.)

To deal with these issues properly, I reworked my approach to the Chrome sandbox in version 3.65.02 and it should hopefully fix those issues as well as others.

Please let me know if version 3.65.02 introduces any new problems when using Chrome or Adobe Reader or version 11 of the Flash plugin for Firefox.

From what I observed, ver. 3.65.02 corrected a minor problem I was experiencing; YouTube videos would "forget" the volume level I had set and start playing at maximum whenever the playlist started a new video. That's fixed now Thanks! Smile

Nice! I'm not sure I understand why, but certainly nice to hear that stuff gets fixed by this change rather than broken. Smile

Definitely fixes the "missing plug-in error" from 3.65.01. Also now seems to have fixed the majority of the original Flash issues including the www.therightscoop.com and www.sigalert.com. Much much better!

The one and only problem I can still find is on www.flightaware.com. The home page loads but flight status pages do not seem to want to load. You can see this if you go to "Live Flight Tracking" and select "Random Flight". As before, the page will load fine outside the sandbox.

Thanks again for the re-worked Chrome sandbox.

My Firefox/Plugin container is working nicer after updating to 3.65.02. As of lately, some pages with Flash videos would kind of stick a little bit. Not anymore. Even though I had not thought of that as an issue, Flash, Firefox and SBIE is working better for me after updating. The whole thing feels better. Thanks Tzuk. Cool

bo: Nice! I'm not sure which specific change did that -- but certainly glad to hear that things are improving. Smile

DWillens: I don't see this problem, that is assuming I'm looking at the right place. "Random flight" is a web link near the very bottom of the "live flight tracking" page, correct? And if I click that link, the tab is supposed to hang? Everything seems to work fine for me.

You have the right page. It hangs on me every time in the sandbox, loads fine outside the sandbox or when I run it in IETab instead of a Chrome tab. Anyway is not a big deal, I appreciate you fixing the other issues.
