Automatically executing "unknown executable code"

Hello Tzuk,

I couldn't post this in feature requests coz it said only administrators can post
here. So here's the feature request. Say for eg. .doc, .xls, .pdf are the only
3 forced programs which automatically open Sandboxed.

Remaining programs open unsandboxed for eg. mspaint, winzip, vlc player.

In this case you can make three categories of programs for eg.Whitelisted(.doc, .xls, .pdf),
Ignored(mspaint, winzip, vlc player), unknown(any other executable code executed in the
form of .exe, .bat, .vbs).

Currently the option to open an unknown exe is to right click and to open it in our newly
created Sandbox which many a time an average user can forget.

By providing the above solution all files(the ones in the unknown category)
which "execute code"(irrespective of the file extension)
can open automatically sandboxed.

What say?

I don't think that's a good idea. If you open Windows Task Manager you will see a lot of EXEs that don't belong to your first two categories. If all of those EXEs run under the supervision of Sandboxie, your Windows will not work properly.

Can there be a mechanism where the user can select all those exes running in the task manager
(something like pressing Ctrl + A) and put them in the ignored list alongwith vlc player, winzip,
mspaint ?

No, it's more complicated than that, I'm afraid.
