Hello, Dear Author:
My English is poor, this letter is to use Google language translation.
I encountered a problem using sandboxie my folder stored in the D: drive, using the chrome, you can not set the "Allow direct access to the chrome bookmarks", if this option is enabled, each time you restart chrome, will be lost bookmarks. However, save in the C drive, no problem.
Thank you to read my letter, waiting for your reply.

Which version of Sandboxie are you using? Please try the latest beta version 3.59.05, download here:

The Sandboxie template for Chrome assumes that your bookmarks are located on C: drive.
If your bookmarks are on D: drive, you need to use:

(For the sandbox you use with Chrome)
Sandbox Settings > Applications > Folders
In the box labelled "Select folder for", make sure that "Chrome" is selected.
You will see the "Default location:" listed for the Chrome profile folder, on C: drive.

Click on the button "Add" and switch to D: drive, then find and click on Chrome's "Default" folder on D: drive.
Click on OK and save your work.

This problem exists in 3.58, but 3.59 seems to have been fixed, I still need to test. Thank you

Go into Sandbox Settings > Applications > Folders, and make sure that Sandboxie knows the right location for your Chrome data files.

I found the Sandbox Settings> Applications> Folders is set to "%Local AppData%\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default", the folder can not be opened.
Should be "%LocalAppData%\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default"
(%LocalAppData% no spaces)
But I added the "% LocalAppData% \ Google \ Chrome \ User Data \ Default", the problem is not resolved

Are you trying to save Chrome bookmarks to C: drive or to D: drive?
If you are trying to save them to D: drive, my message above should work for you.

If you are trying to save bookmarks to C: drive, then I do not think that %LocalAppData% (no spaces) is correct.
When you used Sandbox Settings > Applications > Folders
and then clicked on the "Add" button, did you go to the Chrome "Default" folder and select it?

Maybe my English is so poor, describe the problem is not accurate

I think that caused the problem is "sandbox-set container folder" set to "D:\sandbox \%USER%\%sandbox%," if I set to "C:\sandbox\%USER%\%sandbox%" is not the problem

Moving the Sandbox Container Folder to D: drive should not cause any problem, if the sandbox you use on D: drive starts out empty.
If there is a bookmark file stored inside of that sandbox, then that could cause a problem.

First, you need to know where the Chrome "Default" folder that you want to use is located.
Is the Chrome "Default" folder on C: drive?:
XP: C:\Documents and Settings\(user)\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default
Vista/Win 7: C:\Users\(user)\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default

or, is Chrome installed on D: drive?
If the Chrome "Default" folder is on D: drive, then make sure you know where it is located on that drive.

1) Double-click the "Sandboxie Control" tray icon to open the window.
2) Using: Sandbox >Set Container Folder, switch the "Container Folder" to:
D:\Sandbox\%USER%\%Sandbox%
3) Right-click on the sandbox you use for Chrome and click on "Delete Contents"; if the sandbox is not empty, click on the "Delete Contents" button.
4) Right-click on the sandbox you use for Chrome and click on:
Sandbox Settings > Applications > Web Browser > Google Chrome
If there is not a check mark next to "Allow direct access to Google Chrome bookmarks", check it and then click on "Add" and then click on "Apply".
If there is already a check mark for that item, then leave it checked.
Also, check any of the other Chrome items that you want to be saved outside of the sandbox, and click on "Add" for each one.
If you checked any items that were not already checked, click on "Apply".
5) Click on Applications > Folders

With Chrome selected in the box with the pull-down arrow, look at the box called "Default location".
In this box you will see the normal location for the Chrome "Default" folder:
%Local AppData%\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default
(This is a location on C: drive)

6a) If your Chrome "Default" folder is located at the location I showed in red above (on C: drive), then look at the box called "Alternate location".
If there is anything listed in the "Alternate location" box, click on the "Remove" button to delete it, then click on "Apply".
or,
6b) If your Chrome "Default" folder is on D: drive, then you need to click on the button "Add", and then select the "Default" folder for Chrome on D: drive.

7) Click on OK, to save your work.
----
Try out Chrome by saving a bookmark while running sandboxed, and see if it is there when you run Chrome not sandboxed.
If it saves the bookmark, then for the Chrome sandbox you may want to go to:
Sandbox Settings > Delete > Delete Invocation
and check mark "Automatically delete contents of sandbox"
If the bookmarks and other items that you selected to save outside of the sandbox are being saved correctly, then you can set the sandbox to automatically delete contents when sandboxed Chrome ends.

I have a copy of your video on my computer, so I can watch it at a slow speed.
I will be watching again, but I see that Chrome bookmarks are not being saved when you use D: drive for the Sandbox folder.
And yet they are saved when the Sandbox folder is on C: drive.

Where is your D: drive located?
Is it on a hard drive inside your computer cabinet, or connected by a cable to your computer, or is it located on a network?
