I am current using SandboxieInstall64-355-09, and when I install Inventor 2011 in a sandbox, I get the following error message:

"The program can't start because mfc90u.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the problem to fix this problem."

I have confirm that this file dose exists outside of the sandbox under "C:\Windows\WinSxs". If I ignore this message the install will finish, but I can't launch the product because the mfc90u.dll.

Please let me know if there is a workaround to this problem.

BEFORE REPORTING A PROBLEM:

* Delete the contents of your sandbox and check if it makes a difference.

* Make sure you use the latest official version of Sandboxie or the latest beta version.

INCLUDE IN YOUR PROBLEM REPORT:

* The version number of Sandboxie that you use. In Sandboxie Control program, select Help menu, then click About Sandboxie.

* The version number of Windows that you use, and if it is a 64-bit version.

* Specify clear names for any third-party software that are involved. Be sure to include download links for such software.

THANK YOU. PLEASE DELETE THIS TEXT BEFORE POSTING.

I did not get the chance to test this specific problem with Inventor yet but I did fix a small issue with WINSXS in Sandboxie in version 3.55.12, so you might want to see if that also fixes your problem.

Sorry to hear this. I won't be able to look into this before releasing the next official version but hopefully I can address this early during the next beta.

One more thing. The download page wants me to select a 32-bit or a 64-bit package. I know you said you're on 64-bit Windows but you did not mention which edition of the software you use. So should I download the 32-bit or the 64-bit program?

It now works in SandboxieInstall64-357-03 after you fix the MSVCR90.DLL issue

Yeah, I thought that fixing that other problem might affect your problem as well. But looks like I forgot to post an update about it in this topic. So I'm sorry about, and thank you for posting the update.
