You can probably disregard all the SBIE2205 errors.
But I can try to look into the error with MSVCRT. Is there a download link for this software? |

Hi tzuk, yes you can download the trial here: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/download/item?siteID=123112&id=16324352
You don't need the akamai download manager, just click on "if you can't finish the setup of akamai..." (or so) and the manual download link. The file is pretty big (~ 3.8 GB). I installed the Software outside of a sandbox and tried to run it inside the SB, which gave me the same error (can't load DLL file etc.). |

There is a checkbox for 32-bit or 64-bit package. Which one should I get?

By the fact that you asked this question, I assume you are on Win XP. You should use the 32Bit version then. |

Blackbeat also uses win7 ultimate x64 (as listed in one of his earlier posts).
So, tzuk's question still stands |

Hello, I didn't have any checkbox for those both versions, the setup file is called "Autodesk_3ds_Max_Design_2012_German_Win_32-64bit.exe"
and so has both versions. Autodesk itself is installed in the Program Files folder, which means it is in fact 64-bit. Yes I am running on Windows 7 64-bit, Service Pack 1
no, not "also", but "just". Greetings |

Hey,
not trying to be rude but, what do you think when the next update will be available (approximately)? |

This problem report came in while I was working on UI/usability issues, and those still take priority.
When I finish with those, I'll look into your problem. And then I'll post an update. Please be patient. |

Version 3.57.03 fixes this particular problem with MSVCR90.DLL and makes it possible to install Autodesk_3ds_Max_Design_2012 into the sandbox. However, the software refuses to run in the sandbox due to a problem with the licensing system. But I'm afraid I have a policy of not looking into problems that are directly related to making licensing systems work under Sandboxie, so I left it at that.
The licensing system is the same as the one used for Adobe products, so if you install the program outside the sandbox, make sure to turn on software compatibility for Adobe (Licensing), and then you can run 3ds Max under Sandboxie. |

Hi, thank you very much for making it working.
I'd really like to know how i can fix such problems by myself (if it is even possible?). The correct name for compatibility is "FlexNet Licensing for Adobe and Autodesk" and in the code it is:
For everyone who doesn't know, you can find the beta here: http://sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=10857 Greetings |
