John,

For programs you "store" in a sandbox that is not deleted each session and which you wish to run from the sandbox on a regular basis, I would recommend creating a shortcut that runs them in a sandbox.

Thanks for the tip SBIE User, that is easier than right clicking and selecting run sandboxed each time.

John,

Even easier would be to set the program executable as a forced program in the Sandboxie ini file -- if you have a registered version. That way, it won't matter how you execute the program, it will always run in a sandbox (unless you temporarily disable forced programs from the Sandboxie tray).

One thing I would suggest to add to sandboxie is a "up one level" button or tab from within sandboxie explorer, just like the regular windows explorer has. This would make navigation easier.

I am happy to say, the Sandboxie Explorer is going away soon.

Thanks, Owen! Smile

What a great pointer from Owen, I second that "Thanks!"

So easy... as the Windows Shell key is set explicitly for "explorer.exe," this means a renamed copy of it (e.g., "FileExplorer.exe") will run as a file manager only -- which, of course, can be sandboxed! Cool! Very Happy

John,

It's also worth noting that "Run Sandboxed > Any Program" maintains a handy listing of programs run via that dialog (whether entered directly or located using Browse). The "X" after the field can be used to remove selected entries you don't want to keep listed there.

Thanks for the tip Mona, & when using the browse function from "run any program under sandboxie", I have the "up one level" button that I wanted in the explorer window, to navigate easier.

Thanks for all the help everyone.
