Avira Antivir v9.0.0.429

Had v3.51.09 Installed and upgraded to v3.51.10 yesterday. Today when I tried to Download something, "Luke Firewalker" wouldn't start to Scan for viruses. When I closed the Browser, (FireFox v3.6.13), it wouldn't automatically Delete the contents of the Sandbox. I had to invoke (Terminate All Programs) to flush things out. I did a clean Uninstall of v3.51.10 with exception of "Sandboxie.ini" and reverted back to v3.51.09. Everything is working OK now.

SBIE2203 Failed to communicate with Sandboxie Service: RPCSS/SXS - avscan.exe


Edit: Sorry. Using Free Download Manager v3.0 build 848 They don't have that version at their Homepage as far a I know, but you can get it here.

Free Download Manager Search strings Settings: C:\Program Files\Avira\AntiVir Desktop\avscan.exe

Argument: /GUIMODE=1 /PATH=%file%

I undid some of the changes that I introduced in version 3.51.10,
as they proved not useful after all. Can you check if version 3.51.12 fixes this?

Hi Tzuk. I'm at my other Computer which is almost identical to the other one that had problems.

I installed v3.51.12 over top of v3.51.09 and everything seems to be OK. Tomorrow I'll install this version on the other Computer that had the original trouble.

I just Installed the new version on the original computer that had problems. Everything went OK, so consider this problem "Fixed".
