The linked INSTALLER crashes on SB 3.49.03 under Win7 32-bit. No UI is ever shown. Very basic sandbox setup:

You mean crashes on 3.49.03, but not on earlier builds?

I meant, does this INSTALLER that you linked to, does it crash on version 3.48. But it's not really important, as I'll look into it, anyway.

I have not tried that specific installer on 3.48. But an older version of the installer (in the same web directory as the one I linked) I did try on 3.48, and it did crash. All the installers use the same InstallScript backend, so I assume the results of both installers on both SB versions will be the same.

Well this turned out to be a silly thing. The EXE file name was just too long (over 96 characters) and Sandboxie was not handling this properly. In version 3.49.12 I extended this limit to 255 characters.
