My problem sounds suspiciously like this one:

THIS ISSUE DOES NOT OCCUR WITH SBIE 3.44!
Trying to install Calibre 0.7.10 (or any version before it) fails, and products multiple Start.exe before giving me windows installer error.
Replacing 3.442 over 3.46, and trying to install Calibre works perfectly, same Sandbox, same settings. Everything is the same. :confused:

All of the aforementioned start.exe programs have this in their -command line-

"D:\Applications\Sandboxie\Start.exe" /model:3720:\Sessions\0\DosDevices\00000000-0001036b: C:\WINDOWS\system32\msiexec.exe /V



It happens every single time. 100% reproducible.

did you delete (or rename) the sandbox DefaultBox?

if so, make a new one which you call DefaultBox

I had the Same Problem with a msi installer and the hint with the DefaultBox was right, thanks!
I deleted it 2 days ago hehe.

Defaultbox worked.

I still don't understand WHAT changed from 3.44 > 3.46 that makes these applications like Calibre to product 10 start.exes

3.44 does not have this problem
3.6 does, except if you use defaultbox.
