I think it was some random glitch, because I didn't add anything in version .14 that should cause it, and didn't fix or remove anything in version .15 to stop this from happening. Nevertheless, it's good to hear all is well now.

Actually the same thing happened on several production versions on my 32 bit Vista. When I try a newer Sandboxie and get a glitch I back off to the proven older version. Gradually I work up to newer releases as time goes along. Maybe it's just not fond of HP machines?
I forgot what production version I used last since I put W7 beta and now 7077 on the partition where Vista 32 bit used to live. .14 was the only beta to give a glitch. Must be some subtle side-effect.

.16 a regression

.16 was quite a regression. I kept getting multiple errors from Sandboxie service like:
"missing list of hardware devices" and "unable to communicate with sandboxie service" or words to that effect.

Tried "updating" with .15, uninstalling .16 completely and installing .15. Still the same error msgs from the service. Finally the only thing that got .15 back working was a restore point.

Guess I'll quit while I'm ahead and use .15. Smile

In recent versions I've pretty much just touched the (non-English) translations, as people contribute updates. I don't know what to tell you about the many weird glitches you're experiencing.

I just updated to 3.37.17...
Firefox is working as before, here. No problems detected after a couple of program starts.

A retest of the above FF problem is useless as long there is no helpful error description and reproduction steps.

If not for this update, any chance of an "About" right-click item on main control icon?

Henry

PS Belated appreciation for adding 'X' icon when deleting contents of sandbox - can't remember when it first appeared.

Never got a crash with any of the builds. demoneye probably had some sort of corruption, thinking his eaz-fix rolls back everything identically. Pity.
