i like it so far, it seems overall a little faster?, still the start menu is still kindof slow(first load) when there is alot of programs in it.

You may have noticed improved performance of the Sandboxie Start Menu starting with version 3.31.08.

I definitely notice a speed increase.
See sometimes, when you use start menu in a particular sandbox, it will get faster and faster upon each consecutive run, so it was kinda hard to judge if it was going faster cause of tweaking the start menu code, or because of the consecutive runs. However, I have tested it with all my other sandboxes in which I haven't launched the sandboxed start menu a few times and I have noticed that it seems to take no more then a second and a half to open.  |

The feature referred to is 'Run from Start Menu' which can be reached by right-clicking the tray icon, hovering the mouse cursor over the sandbox name, and then choose the 'Run from Start Menu' item.
It used to be that Sandboxie would take a long time (for my computer) to read through all of the Start Menu items for All Users and my own Start menu items, and then present it's own Start Menu of items to run sandboxed. On my computer that amounts to over 130 folders and also many individual programs, listed on my Start Menu. Now that process has been speeded-up dramatically. This could be especially useful whenever you install a program inside a sandbox folder, and that program adds itself to the 'Start Menu'. Since the 'Start menu' item is actually in the sandbox, it doesn't appear on your normal Start menu but it will appear on the Sandboxie Start Menu. |

Thanks Guest10. I get it now. I've been making do with
just editing the sandboxie.ini for the longest time. I suppose it is time to see what the gui enhancements bring to the table. Thank you again. By the way, I have enjoyed your many other to-the-point and informative posts on this forum. Thanks again. |
