You're right, the bug causing the problem was introduced during development of the 3.45 versions. This will be fixed in the upcoming version 3.45.19.

All people I know now use this one exclusively.

Strangely, if I download a pdf from firefox which opens in a sandbox, it prints. Only when I open a pdf in the sandbox I created permanently does it not print. Hope that makes sense, the verbage not the sandboxie behavior.

I found by accident that if I right-click on a pdf and 'print', it works even though it still seems to load Acrobat Reader in the sandbox (forced program). I checked to ensure it wouldn't print from the normally opened pdf. What is the best and most secure alternative to Adobe Reader? That works with Sandboxie?

I've been getting the same Acrobat error. Tested with Windows 7 x64, Acrobat 9.3.0 Pro Extended, and Sandboxie 3.42.10 and 3.42.12, using a new, default sandbox with both Acrobat templates. Sandboxie 3.442 seems to work fine. By the way, I mentioned this in passing [url=www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=7052]before[/url], but never found a good way to reproduce: acrobat.exe often fails to terminate on exit, although its window closes properly.

Tzuk I am unable to print pdfs from a sandboxed Abobe Reader 9, getting "an error occured during this operation". It works normally if not sandboxed. Unfortunately, I am unable to say if this arose with 3.45.12 or earlier, but I had no problems prior to the beta that I can recall. With the latest vulnerabilities in Adobe Reader, I now only run it sandboxed so this is a big issue for me. Sandboxie 3.45.12 Win 7 Pro 64bit Adobe Reader 9.3.2

yes i tried checking all 3 adobes. there is only an adobe error message, "An error occurred during this operation." it occurs 2 times after pressing "OK" each time. there is no sandboxie error message. As i said previously, no problem to print unsandboxed.

What error message comes up from Acrobat? Is SB producing a message too? Have you tried running a sandbox with more relaxed restrictions? Did you try checking all 3 boxes that have Adobe in it or just 2 of them?

I cannot print a pdf (sandboxed) to my printer. I can print unsandboxed. I am using win7 64 bit, sandboxie 3.45.05 64 bit, acrobat 9, updated to 9.3. I have; adobe 8 or 9, adobe licensing checked in sandboxie. Thanks.
