Sandboxie Forum - border does not appear when window is maximized (5708) http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=5708 en-us 90 Mon Aug 03, 2009 7:26 pm Mon Aug 03, 2009 7:26 pm tzuk: http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=39253#39253 Mon Aug 03, 2009 7:26 pm http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=39253#39253 Should be fixed in version 3.39.03. bugmenot: http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=37840#37840 Mon Jun 08, 2009 12:19 pm http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=37840#37840 Yes the problem occurs when the window is maximized. I'm not talking about full screen. I have my taskbar set to autohide also and I tried what Guest10 found out and the border did return when I unselected autohide. So I guess that's the issue? Thanks for finding this out. wat0114: http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=37678#37678 Tue Jun 02, 2009 2:58 pm http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=37678#37678 ]]>Quoting Guest10: ]]>If I auto-hide the Taskbar, then when maximizing a programs' window, I do not get a border - as designed. If the Taskbar is not hidden, I get the border when maximizing the window - again, as designed. wat0114, do you hide the Taskbar? That would account for no border around the window. ]]> Guest10, you have led me to the answer :) Thank you! My apologies tzuk for not knowing this, though I did try to find the answer before posting without success. ]]>Quoting tzuk: ]]>Guest10, I think surely you figured it out, regarding the auto-hide option. Perhaps I should revise the rules so the border disappears only when full screen AND there is no title bar. (As when pressing F11 in the browser.) ]]> Yes, Guest10 did figure it out. As to your possible suggestion, I would probably prefer it because I like to autohide the taskbar, but I will be happy with whatever you decide upon. This is a phenomenal security product, one which I have only recently begun to realize its powerful potential. Exemplory work, tzuk! tzuk: http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=37675#37675 Tue Jun 02, 2009 1:22 pm http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=37675#37675 Guest10, I think surely you figured it out, regarding the auto-hide option. Removed the border - alles geht's gut. Minor problems are no problem for such a spicy software. wat0114: http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=37658#37658 Tue Jun 02, 2009 3:25 am http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=37658#37658 ]]>Quoting tzuk: ]]>In version 3.38 the border is meant to disappear when the window occupies the entire screen. I can pull the window to a customized size and the border remains until I get to a size that fills the screen, at which point it disappears. Same issue occurs in notepad or wordpad. tzuk: http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=37652#37652 Mon Jun 01, 2009 11:56 pm http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=37652#37652 In version 3.38 the border is meant to disappear when the window occupies the entire screen. (on XP, SB 3.38 ) I tried it with Notepad and Thunderbird, too. wat0114: Re: border does not appear when window is maximized http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=37638#37638 Mon Jun 01, 2009 10:35 pm http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=37638#37638 ]]>Quoting bugmenot: ]]>I have sandboxie 3.38 and xp sp3. I noticed the same thing and although it's minor, it kind of annoys me. bugmenot: border does not appear when window is maximized http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=37593#37593 Mon Jun 01, 2009 6:07 am http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=37593#37593 I have sandboxie 3.38 and xp sp3.
