I guess that is what you get when you get support from the person who actually wrote the program :-) ]]> Hell yeah, thats one of the greatest things about Sandboxie, not just does the program own, but the support is the best, normally when it comes to program support, all you can really do is just email the devs or file a bug with the companies bugzilla section of their site, but where else (other than here) can you actually talk to the dev(s) of a program? Anyways glad the problems been resolved for you. :wink:

Tzuk, you are a genius :-) Chalk this up to another problem RESOLVED! What a nifty program this is. And the support is phenomenal! I guess that is what you get when you get support from the person who actually wrote the program :-)

Yes, that is checked. I have no problems losing emails from outlook when I clear the sandbox. I also tried to open a file path to the copernic program files folder and I tried selecting 'no' to the bottom three options in the sandboxie.ini file (block hooks etc...) None of this has worked. The biggest problem is that, when CDS cannot access the pst file, it will erase all the emails from its index because it assumes they no longer exist. So I can't leave Outlook running sandboxed throughout the day or the CDS index gets erased and it must rescan all the emails the next time it 'sees' the pst file.

Did you set the checkbox in Sandboxie Control (File Copy Options) to allow Outlook full access to the mailbox files? (It's probably on by default, but you should take a look to double check)

On one computer I have Sandboxie installed and run Thunderbird (email) sandboxed. I also have Copernic Desktop Search (CDS) and run it un-sandboxed. CDS indexes my mail and I have no troubles - everything works fine :-) On a second computer I have Outlook instead of Thunderbird. If I run Outlook sandboxed, I run into conflicts between it and CDS (un-sandboxed). Either CDS won't display/preview the emails (if I start Outlook first), or a sandboxed Outlook won't start if I run CDS first and have it previewing an email from its search index. In other words, they won't seem to access the email .pst file at the same time. HOWEVER, if i start Outlook un-sandboxed, everything works fine - I can view emails in Outlook and preview them in CDS all I want. I am thinking that there must be some lines I can add to Sandboxie.ini but I can't figure out what to add to make this work right. Any help would be appreciated!
