There was some internal conflict between the nVidia OpenGL DLL and Sandboxie, which is actually related to how Sandboxie is handling the Windows 7 taskbar. Which is to say, the problem with GPU Caps Viewer has nothing to do with GPU hardware. Version 3.81.04 should fix this problem. I haven't looked at the Photoshop issue, but I don't think version 3.81.04 will make a difference there. tzuk: http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=82427#82427 Thu Jul 26, 2012 8:24 pm http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=82427#82427 Alright, I'll take a look. nnezz: [.04] OpenGL in Photoshop and others blocked by Sandboxie http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=82419#82419 Thu Jul 26, 2012 2:13 pm http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=82419#82419 Sandboxie 64 bit, 3.72, Windows 7. Nvidia GTX 580. No dropped rights. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Software: GPU Caps Viewer http://www.ozone3d.net/gpu_caps_viewer/ The software freezes when running certain OpenGL demos, while sandboxed. Running unsandboxed, the demos function perfectly. The demos are: "GL 2.1 - HDR, DoF and RadialBlur" and "GL 2.1 - Soft Shadows" (Found in the bottom left drop down menu of the application window) So somehow sandboxie is blocking the OpenGL demos from working properly. ================= Using certain GPU accelerated features of Adobe Photoshop CS6 is also broken. Specifically Importing "Video Frames to Layers". It will crash when running sandboxed with GPU acceleration enabled, but function normally when running unsandboxed. ================= Enabling "Permit programs to manage hardware device configuration" has no effect.
