Nvm problem solved as soon as I moved to Firefox 12 beta again, it still pwns and works much better with sandboxie, screw chrome :p

Good. The audio problem was reported a couple of days ago (in this topic) and the problem had something to do with access to a registry key which matches this resource setting pattern. But the way the access was made, it was specific to 32-bit programs on 64-bit Windows, so the fix was also specific to 32-on-64. And the problem does not occur on 32-bit Windows 7 in my tests. So this is Vista specific it seems. In any event, now that we know the cause, I'll see what I can do to fix this without resource settings. I'll probably ask you to check this again when I release version 3.67.04.

Couple of notes about DebugView: It should run as Administrator, and the Capture Global Win32 should be selected (checked) in the Capture menu. * * * D1G1T@L, I don't have a Vista x86 installation but I tried on Vista x64 and I do get audio. How about if you add the following setting in Resource Access > Registry Access > Read-Only Access: *\MMDevices\Audio\* Does it get the sound back?

If i open the browser i see no such error, until i click something like bookmarks/new tab/app. Right click of the mouse also triggers this error. I have an extension in chrome V18 called smooth gestures. Right click and hold of the mouse and drawing a gesture will execute a command like create new tab, next page.etc. It is supposed to also, trace in Red the path you have drawn. It does not.

i install SB 37.02 and my problem with 18.1025.42 and weird message " message SBIE2205 (19/C0000022)" no longer exist :D i encore no sound issue what so ever in youtube or any other site streaming video ... i keep on testing , to see if any other issue remain like i was reported in my first thread . using win 7 x64 sp1 good work tzuk so far :D BTW ppl who comment about problem plz add your os version so tzuk know where to look and check

In version 3.67.02, - message SBIE2205 (19/C0000022) is not displayed in a Chrome sub-process. I'm still not able to reproduce the condition where this message shows up, but based on your reports, there isn't any problem associated with the message, so should be ok to just hide it. - contents of thumbnail cache files are not copied into the sandbox when the files are accessed by any program. - the problem with the File Open dialog box locking up should be fixed. http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=12740

Hey it works! Great! When testing google and website caches (which does work now) I did get a error saying Service Not Implemented, but it didn't affect the functions. I didn't catch the error number and haven't seen that come up before. In fact I've only had one other error with Sandboxie, ages ago, and that's it. Anyway I wasn't able to duplicate it so all is good so far. Thanks!

Just upgraded to 3.64 and same problem. I updated my Windows 7 and was going to update Chrome but it says it's up to date. So it seems to be unrelated to the other posts I'm reading. My guess is that it's something in the latest Chrome update in conjunction with Sandboxie.

Weird, starting today (after midnight), flash does not work properly with my Chrome and Sandboxie V 3.54. Many YouTube videos freeze and I can not click on the cache option on Google Search without google freezing. I CAN do this on google.ca. I don't get any of these issues non sandboxed.

The large (~100MB's) thumbnail cache files cause a delay on non ssd hard drives / older laptops while they are copied over to the sandbox. I think it might have to do with how your user accounts are set up, but it's just a guess, and I don't even know what to ask about how the accounts are set up. In any case, all posts about it say there is nothing wrong except the message. So I think I'll just hide the message in this specific Chrome scenario, and move on.

tzuk, Thank you for your hard work solving these problems. I appreciate it. Audio and webgl seem to be working correctly so far, but I'm still getting the SBIE2205 message. It only seems to happen once a session starting from an empty sandbox. After it appears once it will not occur again even on a different previously affected website. For instance I can visit http://browserquest.mozilla.org/ and get the message (after I name a character :) ). If I then go to http://news.sky.com/home/ there will be no message, even though the message appears there if I visit that site first. I hope that makes sense. I've checked using a default settings sandbox with the same results. I haven't noticed any problem using either of the sites apart from SBIE2205, so I could probably just hide it with no ill effects.

Sound is back to working. WebGL is working, but on first load there's a SBIE2205 popup. This is on win7 64bit chome 18. A bunch of tabs loading without webgl, no popup. snipped. --tzuk And then open a webgl google graph tab, loads fine but issues SBIE2205 popup snipped. --tzuk

I have not seen the error "SBIE2205 ... ConnectPort" pop up at any time so I don't know what to fix. Hopefully version this latest version may fix this error. Please let me know if not. Thanks for taking the time to test these versions and report problems. As you may or may not know, I had to change the way Sandboxie works with Chrome in version 3.66 in order to fix some issues, but apparently this has caused a whole bunch of other problems. Ideally all these problems would be fixed soon, but I would like to thank everyone involved for their patience.

As above, with Chrome 18.0.1025.142 m there is no audio on any video that I have tried so far with 3.67.01. I'm still getting "SBIE2205 Service not implemented: ConnectPort (19/C0000022)2" message on http://news.sky.com/home/ although the page does now display properly. With 3.66 it was a blank page.

Alright guys, I think I fixed the problem with playback on Google Chrome 19.0.1077.3 dev-m. It's taken me a long time to figure out what to fix but I think I did it. Yay :) But shortly after (now that Chrome works), I noticed that Chrome crashes when I close it. So I need to look into that problem as well before I can release something for you to test. With the weekend coming up that might take me a few more days. Thank you for your patience.

short update after updating to the latest google chrome 18 , the "go back" to version 3.64 in order to solved my issue doesnt work anymore , its even worst, any pressing on any flash icon results the whole tab to stuck. when using 3.66 the "good news" is my problem report at the first page remain as it is , and not getting any worst. cheers :)

this seems to be similiar to the previous flash problems i have had earlier with chrome that was fixed in the 3.65 betas. windows 7 x64 google chrome 19.0.1077.3 dev-m (latest dev version) swtiching back to a the previous version of sandboxie fixes the problem, or switching to different chrome release channel also fixes it (beta or stable) videos run perfectly non sandboxed youtube videos or any flash videos fails to load end up in a black box in place of the video, or just sound being played, doesn't happen all the time but a good amount of times when clicking on video links to videos. one such video that seems to hang all the time for me is [u:14436af7e8]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwO_NgsT0HM&feature=related[/u:14436af7e8]

Sorry I have no idea about tppka, but TSSOM I believe it's from an IM (QQ). I would have try disable extensions, but I'm unable to reproduce the problem after install the version D1G1T@L posted. And no, I do not have F-Secure Internet Security. I do notice another problem with some websites (including my own) that would cause tab hang. I will create a new topic after try disable plugins/extensions.

A factor that could influence the reporduction of the problem is a non identical setup of the browser. What other extensions do you have installed? Are there any toolbars or widgets that interact with Chrome in any way? While you may get temporary relief from downgrading, think about how this affects you in the future when substantial features are added and the same problem could still be there. I on my end see no issues with Chrome and Sandboxie as of now. Try this version and see if it makes a difference: http://www.sandboxie.com/SandboxieInstall64-367-01a.exe

Not version 17 but 19.0.1077.3 dev-m here. youtube video sometimes play, sometimes player part is completely black. Tried with resource monitor this time, whole tab hangs but audio plays. snipped. --tzuk

I installed Google Chrome 17.0.963.83 into a sandbox and browsed some videos on YouTube. That was on 64-bit Windows 7, but I don't see the error so far. I tried changing resolutions and opening multiple tabs, but no lock up. Any ideas? Perhaps you should have the Resource Access Monitor open in the background while you're browsing in Chrome, then post your log here once Chrome hangs up?

On XP, I still don't see any problem with sandboxed Chrome, SB 3.66, at YouTube - small player - large player - full screen - drag the progress indicator forward and backward - switch between videos ?

like topic says , some times when switch to new clip the youtube tab stuck (while playing other clip) ... i try same line in unsandboxes chrome all went ok. important point , i down grade to 3.64 and problem gone !!!!!! using win 7 x64 with sb 3,64(atm) :wink:
