| Yeah, it was spam, and I deleted it. If you don't mind, I'll be deleting these (our) last few posts as well. |

I haven't read through this thread to see if the previous post is relevant to the topic discussed.
It bumps a rather old thread, and that isn't a good sign.
I think it might present a problem in terms of copyright infringement, even though it does name the author.
The quoting of entire articles should be avoided.
Excerpts from the article and a link to the source would be more appropriate.
I would delete it, if it was up to me. |
There's SPAM embedded in the post. Take a look at the ".................................................................................". Each "." is a hyperlink. |

Hi Tzuk,
I knew when I bought this program how well you treat your users and this is just one more example.
GREAT WORK on this Microsloth "Update" KB979683 quick fix.
Keep up the good work...
P.S. FYI... I always do a Acronis True Image Workstation Echo 9.7 backup of my WinXP Pro sp3 OS BEFORE
doing any program or MS patch updates. This has saved my bacon more times than I would like to admit. |

Tzuk,
without reading all the posts on all the topics relating to the Microsoft patch problem and the beta, the above doesn't clarify things for me. Any chance you could you quickly write/complete it along the following lines? Thank you.
Microsoft's latest patch caused several problems for Sandboxie. Fixes are in as follows:
If you were using the release version of Sandboxie previously, upgrading to v3.442 fixes the Microsoft patch problem for you. You can get it here...
http://www.sandboxie.com/#
If you were using the beta version of Sandboxie previously (v3.45.00-v3.45.06) with no other problems, upgrading to 3.45.07a fixes the Microsoft patch problem for you. You can get it here...
NEED LINK TO BETA VERSION HERE

Thanks,

I agree with you Lylejk. I ll keep 3.45.07 unless Tzuk recommends
otherwise. The Beta version is doing nice.

Think I'm going to stick with the beta unless something pressing happens. I will then upgrade when the next SBIE series comes out, unless tzuk recommends installing 3.442 over 3.45.07. |

I noticed the new Version too, so I Installed Over Top to keep my Settings. No problems here. Don't forget that the 3.45.07 Version for all intensive purposes was a "Beta" Version.

First of all from my side also many thanks to tzuk for the quick fix.
Just a small question:
If one has installed version 3.45.07: Is it advisable to "downgrade" to the current official version 3.442? (If yes: with or without previous uninstalling of 3.45.07?) Or should he stay with 3.45.07 until the first official version 3.45.xx is released? |
